Democratic Party Structure
The Orange Democratic Movement is organized as a democratic party with structures from the national level down to the grassroots. Our organizational framework ensures that every member has a voice in party governance and decision-making processes, promoting internal democracy and inclusive participation.
Party Organizational Structure
National Delegates Convention (NDC)
The highest decision-making organ of the party, comprising delegates from all constituencies and counties. The NDC meets every five years to elect the party leadership and ratify major policy decisions.
National Governing Council (NGC)
The governing body that oversees party operations between NDC meetings. It provides strategic direction and ensures implementation of party policies and decisions.
National Executive Committee (NEC)
The executive arm responsible for day-to-day management of party affairs and implementation of NGC decisions. Meets regularly to address Latest party matters.
National Secretariat (NS)
The administrative arm providing professional support to implement party policies and coordinate activities across all levels of the party structure.
Party Parliamentary Group (PPG)
Comprises all ODM Members of Parliament and Senators, coordinating the party's legislative agenda and ensuring unity in parliamentary proceedings.
Council of Governors (COG)
Forum for ODM governors to coordinate devolution policies and ensure effective implementation of party manifesto at county level.
Specialized Party Wings
Advances women's rights, gender equality, and ensures women's meaningful participation in party leadership and governance structures.
